6, 12, 18, 21, 24, 35, 42, 50, 109, 146!

These are in response to these.

Sorry so late :(. I just found them in my inbox.

6: What kind of people are you attracted to?
Ooh we just took a quiz about this in my UNIV class. I am a blue/green person, so I associate with people who value intelligence, really care about others, and are a bit shy like me. :)
12: What are your 5 favorite songs right now?
Wow, this is so hard!
I’m going to have to say, in no particular order:
1. A Day in the Life (Beatles)
2. Come and Get Your Love (Redbone)
3. Something in the Water (Brooke Fraser)
4. You Don’t Know Me (Ben Folds)
5. Ma Belle Amie (Tee Set)
18. Do you still talk to your first crush?
I actually have never had a crush…. #funfact
21. What are your bad habits?
Procrastination and picking my lips. Those are the worst I can think of, both of which I do when I’m stressed out.
24. Favorite part of your daily routine?
Is it bad that it’s probably eating (trying all the cool places to eat on and off campus)? I also love the time just before I go to bed, cuz I talk to my roommate about weird stuff and we’re so tired we just laugh and laugh over the dumbest things.
35. Would you rather live without TV or music?
Although it would secretly kill me (I’d never know how Korra ends!!!), I’d have to say music. Music makes up such a big part of my life, whether it’s singing, dancing, or just listening. Music can do so much for my mood and the experiences I’d have, as well as the memories I associate each song with. I couldn’t deal with not having that in my life.
42. If you’re being extremely quiet, what does it mean?
It means I’m realllllly tired and don’t want to be wherever I am at the moment. It’s never anything against the people I’m around- just, when I’m tired, talking is the last thing I want to do.
50. What color was the last hoodie you wore?
Navy blue. I wore my UMich sweater yesterday. :)
109. Is something irritating you right now?
Having to do homework when it’s such a nice day and there’s this outdoor workout class I want to try….
146. Was today a good day?
Overall, I’d say yeah. I got to meet a friend for breakfast when I usually eat by myself (cuz it’s so early and no one is up yet…yeah, I chose that 8:30 am class…). I participated in all 3 of my classes today. It is a lovely day outside. I’m not sick (yet…). And there are free chips and guac in the dining hall. Yep, I’d say it’s been pretty good. :)

one of my fav scenes to be honest, cause lawd knws if they allowed black folks in the league maaaaaaan listen, alot of what ifs possiblities

This film, “A League of Their Own” dedicates so many scenes to issues like sexism.

Yet, blink too fast and you’ll miss this short scene…the one that shows how Black women were barred from the league.

The Black woman is supposed to represent Mamie “Peanut” Johnson (who actually did try out for the league). She wasn’t allowed to play and went on to be one of the few women to play with men in the Negro League.

I WOULD LOVE TO SEE A FILM ABOUT JOHNSON AND THE OTHER WOMEN WHO PLAYED FOR THE NEGRO LEAGUE! But Hollywood …

Promotional trailer for Deaf West Theatre’s production of Spring Awakening in Los Angeles, CA.

this is awesome and I approve of it so much and it goes back to what I was talking about society not being inclusive enough of signing people.
